The presidential election in 2020 was decided by fewer than 43,000 votes and research has shown that in 2024, Postcards to Swing States added an estimated 200,000 votes by encouraging voters to get to the polls or mail in their ballots. Postcards to Voters allows an individual to select the candidate for they wish to write postcards.
The following candidates are in toss-up races for the midterms:
Alaska Senate: Former Representative Mary Peltola, a Democrat and salmon fisherman.
Iowa Senate: Josh Turek, a Democratic state legislator endorsed by Obama..
Maine Senate: Fifth-generation logger Troy Jackson, a progressive former state legislator.
Michigan Senate: Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a public health leader and progressive Democrat.
Minnesota Senate: Peggy Flanagan, Lieutenant Governor and potentially the first Native American woman to serve in the US Senate.
New Hampshire Senate: Representative Chris Pappas, a Democrat who was the first openly gay member of Congress in the state’s history.
Ohio Senate: Sherrod Brown, a tireless advocate for working people who previously served in the Senate.
Texas Senate: James Talarico, former middle school teacher and current front runner.
US House Florida District 14: Kathy Castor (D) is aiming to keep her seat in the House fighting for veterans and their families
US House Florida District 25: where Jared Moskowitz (D) is continuing his fight to bring power to the people.
US House Ohio District 9: Marcy Kaptur (D) aims to hold her seat as the longest serving woman in US Congress and ranks as one of the most senior.
US House Texas District 34: Vicente Gonzalez (D) is running to support affordability for all.
US House Washington District 3: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is using her working class roots to maintain her seat in US Congress.
US House Wisconsin District 3: Young farmer and small business woman Rebecca Cooke stands a chance to take the seat of Derrick Van Orden and bring power back to the farmers and working class.
