Midterm elections often have low voter turnout with only 30% of eligible voters going to the polls. So reminding voters that this is an important election is essential. A common misconception is that working on a campaign means persuading people to vote for your candidate. In reality, working on a campaign most often means encouraging people who agree with you to get to the polls!
